NEWCASTLE, NSW – New South Wales, it’s time to suit up! After much anticipation, Delta Force Paintball is thrilled to announce that MiniBall is officially live at our premier Newcastle (Dingaree) centre.
For years, younger fans have watched from the sidelines as the "big kids" took to the field. Now, players as young as 8 years old can dive into the action at our world-class Newcastle facility, located just a short drive from the heart of the Hunter.
MiniBall is a specially designed, low-impact version of paintball created specifically for the next generation of warriors (ages 8–11). It removes the "sting" while keeping all the strategy, teamwork, and adrenaline of the full-scale game.
Whether you’re planning an 8th, 9th, or 10th birthday party or a school holiday outing, MiniBall offers a structured, 2-hour session (typically 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm) that is fully supervised by our professional marshalling staff. Your group will play on movie-set game zones like the iconic Tomb Raider pyramid and the eerie Resident Evil graveyard.
Because MiniBall uses specialized, lightweight equipment, sets are limited at the Newcastle location and pre-booking is essential.
Delta Force Paintball in Newcastle Has Reopened!
After months of downtime filled with more Netflix marathons than we’d like to admit, too many takeaway deliveries, and getting our paintball fix through the latest Call of Duty, we’re thrilled to announce that our Newcastle centre is officially open again!
On Sunday 17th October, we welcomed our first paintball enthusiasts back through the gates. After several months without the sound of markers firing or players storming the battlefield, it felt amazing to bring the action back to life.
We chose to begin with a soft relaunch and limited player numbers, giving us the opportunity to refine our systems, refresh our operations, and ensure everything was running with maximum smoothness and efficiency.
During our closure, we focused on improving and elevating key parts of the Delta Force experience:
• Staff have undergone updated training to enhance service, safety, and operational standards.
• Hand sanitiser stations are available at all key touch points throughout the centre.
• All equipment is thoroughly cleaned and maintained before, during, and after events.
• We have introduced allocated table seating and improved spacing for groups.
• Streamlined procedures are now in place for payments, equipment collection, and overall event flow.
• All paintball markers, door handles, and frequently touched surfaces are cleaned between every session.
• Our schedule now incorporates shorter, high-intensity sessions — giving players the same amount of thrilling action in a more efficient timeframe.
All these improvements (and more!) ensure we continue delivering the world-class Delta Force Paintball experience you know and love — now even more polished, efficient, and immersive.
