How to have a great day playing paintball.
Here’s an easy how- to guide to give you some helpful information on having the best day of paintball possible!
Gather your Paintball Warriors.
Get a group of friends together that are keen to have an awesome day out. It’s a great chance to have fun and catch up, all while having the time of your life
Book in nice and early.
Delta Force Paintball has a heap of locations all over the country, so pick the closest and book in! Getting the date you want can sometimes be tricky, so it’s best to plan ahead, we recommend booking at least two weeks in advance.
Get excited!
You’re all booked in for a day of adrenaline fuelled action. Talk strategy with your team and get them all pumped up for an exciting day out.
The Big Day
Pack plenty of water, paintball is thirsty work. Get your group to the field and check in with the site managers. You’ll need to fill in the registration forms They’ll get you ready to go. You don't want to get hurt, so make sure you listen to the marshals during the safety briefing!
Pick your paintball pack.
For the best value for money, we recommend groups purchase one of our packages to ensure everyone has enough bullets to last the day. There’s nothing worse than running out mid game! We have plenty of options, just check out our pricing page!
Have the best day out ever!
Once you’re kitted out and ready to go, make sure you have a killer time out on the field! Our awesome game zones will keep your group entertained. Listen to the marshals, trust us, they know what they’re doing. Remember- Stay low and shoot straight!

Paintball Etiquette? Is that even a thing?

Yes my fellow paintball warriors, it is.
There’s nothing worse than having your epic time ruined by someone who’s not playing fair, so I’m going to educate you all on some of the basic etiquette us paintballers appreciate.
If you’re out, you’re out. Don’t be a jerk.
I know, it sucks when you’re hit. It’s not too long till your next game though! If you’ve been hit, stick your hand up and let the marshal send you off the field to consider your strategy for the next game. Staying in when you’ve been hit is not cool, and unfair to the marksman that deserves his victory.
Don’t shoot point blank.
Not only is this against the rules, but you risk injuring your team mates or the other team by shooting point blank. Save your bullets for the shots that’ll count.
Be a good sportsperson.
You’re playing a team sport, so remember to play as a team. Also remember to congratulate the winning team! You’ll play against them later, so avoid being rude or starting an argument
Listen to the marshals.
I’ve mentioned our awesome marshals a few times, and here’s the best advice I can give: respect and listen to these dues, they’re hard working and want to make your day as awesome as possible. Listening to them will make your day, and theirs, much better. Paintball warriors, there’s nothing better than an awesome day out on the field with your mates, shooting the enemy and having a wicked time on some awesome game zones. Can’t wait to see you there!

The Hunter Region has long been a target for a new Delta Force location that has now materialised. The Construction Team has been hard at work through record heat in January and record rain in March. Under trying conditions they have produced a spectacular paintball arena to bring out your inner Rambo. A custom-designed base camp accompanies five exciting Game Zones. For the first time in Australia D-Day Landing will be available at the Newcastle Centre. Set in ideal terrain, teams will charge out of the barges on the beach and work their way to claim the bunker. This fresh and adrenaline-pumping game zone is not to be missed. Delta Force signature Game Zones are also showcased including Tomb Raider with the 30ft stone pyramid; Resident Evil, Tropic Thunder and crowd favorite Speedball. It’s no wonder the number of Delta Force raving fans are growing by the day around the world.

What are paintballs made of?

Back in the 80’s when this awesome game of paintball was created, the paint commonly used was oil based, and was unfriendly to the environment. Oil based paint is the most difficult to wash out of clothing, and can react with the gelatine shell, making the paintball less accurate while shooting.
