Can I bring my own paintballs?

No. Only paintballs supplied by Delta Force Paintball Newcastle on the day of your booking are permitted for use on our game zones.

Environmental Protection: Our Newcastle centre is located in a beautiful bushland setting. We are committed to using only high-quality, fully biodegradable paintballs that are safe for the local NSW ecosystem.
Impact Safety: Our paintballs are stored correctly to ensure they are “frangible” (meaning they break easily on impact). We cannot allow external paintballs, as older or poorly stored paint can harden, posing a safety risk to other players.
No “Bring Backs”: Once paintballs leave our care, we can no longer guarantee their safety standards. Therefore, any paint taken off-site cannot be brought back for future use.

After 10 long years of lobbying, the date has finally officially been set for the minimum age reduction in NSW. As of 1 July 2019, players from 12 years plus will be able to enjoy the fun, exhilaration and team atmosphere paintball provides. Birthday parties will never be the same now the bar has been raised; end-of-season sporting events; school sports. Kids all over NSW are champing at the bit to show what they can do on a paintball field. Delta Force Paintball is the only NSW provider with child-specific paintball goggles and safety equipment that fit better for high-level safety and comfort. With Delta Force locations across the world already entertaining 12-year old's, it will be a seamless transition to offer paintball to this age category in NSW. Want to avoid a paintball injury? Read on!
Don’t get me wrong, paintball is a safe game! We all take a tumble every now and then, but we’ve seen some studies that show paintball as being safer than other contact sports such as Rugby or Soccer. That being said though, I wouldn’t be a good friend if I didn’t give you some tips and hints to avoid injury on the field! So, how do you avoid a paintball injury?
Wear clothes
Some do, some don’t. It’s our advice that if you want to avoid bruising from our paintballs that you wear clothes. A light hoodie provides great protection, as the balls hurt more if they explode on unclothed skin! We provide all our players with a standard protective suit, and the option to upgrade is always there! Hands are the worst place you can be hit, so we suggest either bringing your own gloves, or hiring a pair of specialised paintball gloves. You won’t regret it!
Wear your goggles on the field
This is already a rule at our fields, but if you want to leave with the eyes you came with, wear your goggles! Paintballs can be swift little buggers, so wear your mask or risk injury and being sent off the field! This is honestly the best way to avoid a paintball injury, trust us!
Wear proper footwear
Paintball isn’t a fashion contest, so trust us. Wear sturdy shoes that provide ankle support and decent tread. The fields can get muddy if it’s rained, and we’d hate for anyone to be unprepared! Avoid shoes that you don’t want to get dirty, because trust us, with all the running, crouching, hiding and attacking you’ll be doing, dirty shoes are the least of your problems!
Listen to the Marshals
It’s pretty simple; these guys work to make sure everyone is happy and safe, they want to avoid a paintball injury just as much as you! One of the best tips I can give you as a paintballer is to listen to their advice and safety instruction. If you listen to the marshal you’ll prevent any possible injuries that might occur, but you can also gain some awesome advice to use on the field later! Have a wicked day on the field guys, and stay safe!
How to have a great day playing paintball.
Here’s an easy how- to guide to give you some helpful information on having the best day of paintball possible!
Gather your Paintball Warriors.
Get a group of friends together that are keen to have an awesome day out. It’s a great chance to have fun and catch up, all while having the time of your life
Book in nice and early.
Delta Force Paintball has a heap of locations all over the country, so pick the closest and book in! Getting the date you want can sometimes be tricky, so it’s best to plan ahead, we recommend booking at least two weeks in advance.
Get excited!
You’re all booked in for a day of adrenaline fuelled action. Talk strategy with your team and get them all pumped up for an exciting day out.
The Big Day
Pack plenty of water, paintball is thirsty work. Get your group to the field and check in with the site managers. You’ll need to fill in the registration forms They’ll get you ready to go. You don't want to get hurt, so make sure you listen to the marshals during the safety briefing!

Once you’re kitted out and ready to go, make sure you have a killer time out on the field! Our awesome game zones will keep your group entertained. Listen to the marshals, trust us, they know what they’re doing. Remember- Stay low and shoot straight!
