What do I do if I get lost trying to find the centre?

To ensure your session starts on time, we provide several tools to help you locate our Newcastle entrance easily. Because rural entrances can sometimes be tricky for standard GPS, we recommend the following steps:

Search for the Brand Directly: If you are using Google Maps or Apple Maps, searching for “Delta Force Paintball Newcastle” is significantly more accurate than entering a street address alone.
Use Your Booking Confirmation: Upon booking, you will receive a confirmation email containing a specific map and directions. We strongly recommend sharing this printable PDF with every driver in your group before you set off.
Sat Nav Caution: While GPS is helpful, woodland entrances at Freemans Waterhole can be discreet. Please cross-reference your Sat Nav with our specific directions to ensure you reach the correct gate on Palmers Road.
Look for the Signs: Keep an eye out for Delta Force Paintball signage as you approach the turn-off. If you reach the main township of Freemans Waterhole or the M1 interchange, you may have overshot the entrance.
Live Support: If you are struggling to find us on the day, please call our national booking office on 1300 422 989. Our team can provide immediate guidance to ensure you reach the car park safely.

Newcastle Organiser Tip: Aim to arrive at least 15–20 minutes before your scheduled arrival time. This allows for unexpected traffic on the M1 or Palmers Road and ensures your group doesn’t miss the compulsory safety briefing!

Paintball providers often only offer body armour to women, which is great as it helps protect the upper body from the impact of any paintballs. However at Delta Force Paintball, we want to provide everyone with protective equipment. Our body armour is available to all of our paintball warriors, at no extra cost. We want everyone to feel protected on the field.

Our body armour will help you gain confidence on the field, allowing you to achieve victory without fear of rogue paintballs! The body armour is comprised of multiple memory foam plates contained within a flexible skin. The protective plates and flexible skin are completely ventilated, to avoid a build up of body heat. The armour has been designed to be easy to takeon and off- perfect for when you're having lunch and want to cool down! Play paintball in custom-designed armour, that will allow for a free range of motion, and protection from any paintballs coming your way!

Paintball Etiquette? Is that even a thing?

Yes my fellow paintball warriors, it is.
There’s nothing worse than having your epic time ruined by someone who’s not playing fair, so I’m going to educate you all on some of the basic etiquette us paintballers appreciate.
If you’re out, you’re out. Don’t be a jerk.
I know, it sucks when you’re hit. It’s not too long till your next game though! If you’ve been hit, stick your hand up and let the marshal send you off the field to consider your strategy for the next game. Staying in when you’ve been hit is not cool, and unfair to the marksman that deserves his victory.
Don’t shoot point blank.
Not only is this against the rules, but you risk injuring your team mates or the other team by shooting point blank. Save your bullets for the shots that’ll count.
Be a good sportsperson.
You’re playing a team sport, so remember to play as a team. Also remember to congratulate the winning team! You’ll play against them later, so avoid being rude or starting an argument
Listen to the marshals.
I’ve mentioned our awesome marshals a few times, and here’s the best advice I can give: respect and listen to these dues, they’re hard working and want to make your day as awesome as possible. Listening to them will make your day, and theirs, much better. Paintball warriors, there’s nothing better than an awesome day out on the field with your mates, shooting the enemy and having a wicked time on some awesome game zones. Can’t wait to see you there!

When you think of paintball the majority of people think about being shot at, the bruises, and the cool overalls you get to wear. For one, you can totally avoid bruises by wearing combat suits and some protective layers. And honestly, shooting a paintball marker at your friends is way more fun than anyone lets on. We’ve uncovered a few reasons for everyone to give paintball a go, especially if they are looking for an active day out. It gets the heart pumping. Paintball is definitely a cardio workout that will see your heart rate rise in no time at all! It gets the brain cogs turning. Paintball is more than just running around, shooting enemies. It’s a strategic game that requires a solid game strategy to win. We like to think of it as extreme chess; you just gotta get one player out at a time. Exercise boosts endorphins. This is a well known fact, and is one of the many reasons people love playing paintball. You get the heart pumping, releasing all those happy hormones. Happy hormones, combined with playing with a group of mates, and you’re in for a fantastic time. Want #gains? Try paintball. It is a game that requires strength just as much as it does cardio fitness. All the squatting, lunging and army crawling can lead to some serious muscle, all in the name of fun! Is there anything better than hanging out with your friends? Let alone being able to hang out at a place where you can run around cool props and pretend like you’re the warriors you wanted to be when you were kids. Being able to spend time with your friends is key to happiness, and paintball provides to perfect opportunity to hang out with those you love (and shoot at those you love a little less).
