Aussie Men's Rugby 7's team at Delta Force Paintball - Appin
As a part of a three-day camp the full squad visited Delta Force’s Appin location and undertook some adrenaline-filled activities. The requirement of team work, communication and strategy makes paintball an ideal activity for these elite athletes.
Delta Force Appin has an amazing array of scenarios and game zones making it an ideal location for the national side’s training camp. Crowd favourites include the custom-designed and manufactured Black Hawk chopper; 30 ft. Egyptian pyramid with guarding sphinxes; London double-decker bus amongst many more. The Delta Force team used these epic game zones along with creative scenarios to take the players on a physical, thought-provoking and competitive series on challenges.
At the conclusion of the session the team presented Delta Force with a signed jersey as a sign of their appreciation. A fantastic session was had by all and Delta Force is proud to be the paintball provider of choice for the Australian Men’s Rugby Sevens team and play a small part in their pursuit of Gold.

One of the great things about paintball is that it’s just like playing a real life video game. Your success relies on strong teamwork and cohesion, and like any game, there are rules that paintball players need to follow. At Delta Force Paintball our rules are all in the interest of your safety, and the safety of our marshals. Here are three paintball rules you have to know!
Rule One: Wear your paintball mask at all times on the field!
On the game zones there are paint balls coming from all directions, and they can come fast! Because we want everyone to leave with the eyes they came with, this is a pretty important rule. Taking off your mask means you’re risking serious damage to your eyes, and we can’t have that!
Rule Two: 3 metre rule.
In the interest of everyone’s safety, we have a 3 metre rule that must be followed at all times. You can’t shoot someone if they are closer than three metres, there’s too much risk of injury from shooting at point blank range!
Rule Three: Headshots don’t count.
No one likes to go home with a headache, so it’s simple: Don’t shoot people in the head. The shot won’t count and you will have wasted your paintballs, and that’s something none of us want.
We like to keep things as simple as possible here, so there’s not really too much you need to know. On your day of paintball the marshals will explain these rules fully. Until then I’ll keep sharing some helpful hints, we like our paintball warriors to be fully prepared for battle!

Bucks days at Delta Force Paintball
A bucks day he’ll never forget.
It’s almost your mate’s special day.
He’s gonna tie the knot soon.
Delta Force Paintball
And you’re the man who is meant to plan the best send off possible.
What better way to send your stag off than to dress him up and send him out with a paintball gun and a few of his best mates?
Paintball is the perfect activity to get the boys geared up for a night of dubious choices and some stories you’d rather forget.
Here’s how a session at Delta Force Paintball looks for a bucks party.
You can book by calling one of our event coordinators at any time of the session. They are available and will help you plan everything to give your stag the best send off possible.
On the session you’ll arrive and get kitted up by our marshals. Here’s the chance to get you stag all dressed up in one of our Onesies, or you could all wear your own costumes. We recommend you all buy a group pack (you don’t want to run out of paintballs when the stag is on the loose!). Don’t forget to let the marshals know who the guest of honour is; they’ll give him some special treatment!
From here you’ll have a safety briefing, and then it’s time for battle!
Of course you’ll have breaks in between games, where you can rehydrate (sorry, no alcohol), and refuel for the next match. You can order pizzas for the group for lunch, or bring your own food. We recommend bringing plenty of water; you don’t want the stag getting dehydrated!
Your action packed session will see your squad battle it out in pyramids, black hawk helicopters and sniper towers, and will be a session the stag will never forget.
