Paintball usage depends entirely on your playing style. A good rule of thumb for our Newcastle centre is approximately 200 paintballs per game zone. Because every player is different—some prefer tactical sniping while others are more “trigger-happy”—the total amount you use is entirely up to you.
Estimating Your Ammunition Needs
- Flexible Play: You have the freedom to decide how many game zones you play throughout the day.
- Pay-As-You-Go: Extra paintballs are always available for purchase at our on-site kiosk during your session, giving you full control over your spending.
- Group Upgrades: Most squads prefer to purchase Bulk Upgrade Packages rather than individual 100-ball pods. These offer much better value and ensure your whole team is well-stocked for the duration of the session.
Pro-Tip for NSW Players:
To get the most out of your day, we recommend starting with a mid-sized bundle. In our larger, more immersive game zones—like the iconic Tomb Raider (with giant stone pyramids) or the intense Tropic Thunder—the action gets fast and furious. You definitely won’t want to run out of paint in the middle of a mission!
