For the best safety and comfort, Delta Force Paintball Newcastle recommends wearing light, layered clothing and sturdy footwear suitable for the rugged bushland. As Australia’s leader in paintball safety, we provide professional-grade protective equipment to every player as standard.
Expert Clothing Recommendations
-
Base Layers: Wear light, breathable “old” clothes—such as a t-shirt and gym shorts or leggings—underneath the combat suit we provide. This prevents overheating while ensuring maximum mobility during high-intensity missions.
-
The Delta Force Combat Suit: Every player is issued a custom-designed, full-length combat suit with a protective padded collar. This is specifically engineered to protect your skin from the elements and paint.
-
Footwear: Sturdy, closed-toe shoes with good tread are essential for our outdoor terrain. We highly recommend hiking boots or old sneakers with ankle support. Note: Sandals, flip-flops, and any open footwear are strictly prohibited.
Essential Gear & Extras
-
Safety Equipment: Your admission includes our industry-leading safety kit: full-head goggles with a wrap-around protection system and custom-designed body armour.
-
Post-Game Comfort: We strongly suggest bringing a towel and a full change of clothes for the journey home. After conquering game zones like Resident Evil or Tropic Thunder, you’ll appreciate fresh clothes for the drive back home.
-
Payment Methods: Our on-site kiosk at the Newcastle centre accepts credit/debit cards and cash for refreshments, extra ammunition, or optional tactical upgrades like armored gloves and groin guards.
Pro-Tip from our Newcastle Centre Manager:
If you are playing during a NSW summer, focus on moisture-wicking fabrics and stay hydrated. For winter sessions, a light hoodie underneath your combat suit provides excellent warmth without restricting your movement when you’re darting between props
